CHAPTER 132: The Book Of Life (3D)

This morning, I planned to watch <The Book Of Life> in 3D at GSC Pavilion KL. I used my ticket voucher to bought the 3D movie ticket in RM 5.00 only. Around 11:30 a.m., I entered the cinema hall to enjoy the movie.

Movie Review
The movie is talking about the book of life where it's stored the every story in the world. The movie is started with the museum chaperone called Mary Beth took a group of the troubled children on a museum tour and them about the story of the Mexican town called San Angel from the Book of Life. The story started where two young boys named Manolo and Joaquin and a girl called Maria was best friends ever but Manolo and Joaquin tried to get Maria. But there is the largest bet between La Muerte and Xibalba regarding which boy will married Maria started. Xibalba gave Joaquin the Medal of Eternal Life because he want to rule the Land of Remembered (if he won in the bet). One day, Xibalba scared he will lose in the bet, so he turned his stick to become the snake and bite both Manolo and Maria when they met at outside of the town. But Joaquin's Medal of Eternal Life gave her the life so La Muerte lose on the bet. Manolo knew the truth when he and his ancestor found that Xibalba rule the Land of Remembered and he told him everything. Manolo will try to get his ancestor's help to get to Land of Forgotten to find La Muerte. La Muerte was very angry when she find the truth, and this time Manolo have the bet with Xibalba. If he won in kill the bull, Xibalba have to give back his life. At the same time, Chakal, the bandit leader want to burn the town because want to get back the Medal of Eternal Life from Joaquin. Actually, Joaquin is a coward when he lose his Medal of Eternal Life. At last, Manolo won the bet and he managed to get back his life to fight with Chakal. Not only that, La Muerte and Xibalba send the spirits of his family to fight with Chakal and they won. Finally, Manolo married with Maria and that's the story ended with Mary Beth turned to La Muerte and the security guard turned to Xibalba.
