CHAPTER 037: The Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Spider-Man

Date: 30th April 2014 (Wednesday)
Location: IMAX Hall, TGV Gurney Paragon, Level 8, Gurney Paragon Mall, Penang

Before 07:00 p.m., me and Shukor reached TGV Gurney Paragon and there are a lot of people queue for the event "The Largest Gathering of People Dressed Up as Spider-Man". Around 07:00 p.m., they are giving out a form and the Spider-Man costume at the registration counter. We are required to fill up the form and wear the Spider-Man costume before we queue at 08:00 p.m. till 08:45 p.m. for <The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro> IMAX 3D Passes. But after I registered myself, some of the TGV Staff from HQ recognized me and they know I'm all the way come from Kuala Lumpur because of the event. (I'm consider as one of TGV Cinemas Fans). After that I filled up the form and changed my costume. I thought I want to join the game session with Shukor but I saw a lot of the people queue in front of the IMAX Hall Entrance so we went there to queue and hope can get the IMAX 3D Passes because they might give some of the participants to watch in auditorium for 2D. While the time we waiting, some of the photographer request us for their recording and photo and also there are some Q&A Sessions. We managed to answer the question and get one TGV Amber Pass (Complimentary Pass for one ticket). Before they giving out IMAX 3D Pass, they giving out TGV Amber Pass to all the participants. Around 09:00 p.m., they giving out IMAX 3D Pass and also Limited Edition <The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro> Multipurpose Pouch, Spider-Man Mask Fan, and IMAX Premiums. Luckily we can get IMAX 3D Pass while some of the participants can get the Normal Pass. All the participants need to enter the IMAX Hall for "Largest Gathering of People Dressed Up as Spider-Man". There are 342 Spidey in IMAX Hall, and TGV Cinemas are trying to break the records in Malaysia Book of Records. And some of the media did take the photo and we need to buy the newspaper on the next morning. For your information, all the participants in Penang consider are the first whom watch <The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro> in IMAX 3D at Penang (TGV Gurney Paragon consider as the FIRST IMAX in Penang).

Movie Review
You are advised to watch <The Amazing Spider-Man> before you watch this because <The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro> is the sequel movie for <The Amazing Spider-Man>. At first, the movie is started with the story when Peter Parker was young. His father and mother try to save their work by run away to other country with a plan, but they are killed during the plane hijacked. Nowadays, Peter Parker try to fight crime and he saved Max Dillon, the electrical engineer in Oscorp. He was too excited because he thought Spider-Man would be his friend but during his birthday, he had an accident during he doing the maintenance and obtain his powers and become Electro. He was shocked when he is know he changed to Electro but he is happy because he can become famous through the TV News. When Spiderman fight with him during someone shoot him, the TV News showed Spider-Man and Electro get mad and fight with Spiderman. At the same time, Peter Parker can't forget the promise that he made with Captain George Stacy before he died, and finally they (Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy) breakup but at last they become couple again. Both of them fight with Electro through the science knowledge and Harry Osborn came and fight with Spider-Man because he want to get Spider-Man's blood but Spider-Man refused his request. During the fight, Gwen Stacy was died because Green Goblin (Harry Osborn) hurt her. Because of this, Spider-Man didn't appear for five months. And at last, Harry Osborn assigned the man in shadows to break Sytsevich out and become "Rhino" and the movie ends when Spider-Man fight with him in the middle. What I learnt from the relationship between Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, is always trust each other and find the best solution for any single problem. For your information, YOU CAN LEAVE once the credit is play because there are no post-credit scene.
