CHAPTER 033: Transcendence

After my work around 06:00 p.m., my adopted brother fetched me at my office and brought me to Mutiara Damansara for <Transcendence> Special Screening at 09:30 p.m.. We reached there around 07:00 p.m., and we have lunch before I went to NEF Registration Counter @ Cathay Cineplex eCurve 16 while he walked around all the shopping centre in Mutiara Damansara. I queued at there until the in-charge person for FB Contest came at 08:45 p.m. (They supposed to start to give out the prize on 09:00 p.m.). I got 4 pieces of <Transcendence> Special Screening Tickets (FREE SEATING), Limited Edition <Transcendence> Car Boot Organiser and Limited Edition <Transcendence> Toiletries Bag. Since it's FREE SEATING tickets, I requested my adopted brother wait in front of the cinema hall entrance until the cinema hall is opened for public to enter while waiting for my assistant manager in my company, Jocelyn to reach the cinema with her boy friend. Around 09:05 p.m., the cinema hall is opened and I'm able get two twin seats (the most behind seats) and four of us enjoyed the movie till 11:30 p.m..

Movie Review
This movie is talking about artificial intelligence (AI) which is the intelligence exhibited by machines or software, and the branch of computer science that develops machines and software with human-like intelligence. From what I saw in the movie, the technology are changed from days to days. Artificial Intelligence can make the computer that can react like a human being. Dr. Will Caster is tried to do more research towards the artificial intelligence, until he was being attacked by an anti-technology extremists, and his best friends, Max tried to download his mind to the computer. After this Dr. Will Caster can connected to all of the world when her wife, Evelyn put him online. He guides her to run away from the extremists to Brightwood and build Brightwood Data Center at there. In the data center he did a lot of researches, where he can heal the human who is blinded, being shoot and so on. Not only like that, even the plant that want to die also can heal it. This kind of researches make him unstopped until his wife was persuaded by Max (whom helping the extremists) and Max created the virus to destroy Dr. Will Caster. In the end of the story, Evelyn was hurted during the extremists attacked the data centre and Dr. Will Caster uploaded her to the online. Because of the virus, all of them died and no more electricity including internet. That's why the phone, and laptop are become rubbish for people. As a conclusion, the technology are good to the human but don't misused it because we as a human is more intelligent than a computer as the computer are created by human.
