CHAPTER 104: The Maze Runner (IMAX 2D)

Location: IMAX Hall, TGV 1 Utama, Third Floor, Centre Court, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya

This morning, me and Abang Malik watched <The Maze Runner> in IMAX 2D at TGV 1 Utama. After we collect our movie tickets at the box office counter and bought ourselves large popcorn set, we entered the cinema hall to enjoy our movie.

Movie Review
The movie is based on the novel called "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner. The movie started with someone called Thomas was brought to the maze with the elevator and greeted by the other boys called The Glade. Thomas wondering what is beyond the opening wall but he is warned by The Glade not going there as it's maze. One of the gladers, Newt told him that only the gladers become runners, they are allowed into the maze. Because their job is to complete the maze and try to find the way out. The moral values I learned from Thomas are brave, intelligent and helping one another. During the time that Minho and Alby can't make their way out from the maze while the gate want to close, he sacrified himself to enter the maze and save them. The gate won't be opened unless it's on the next morning. The grievers will release from one of the sector gate every night. And Thomas managed to save both Alby and Minho and kill the grievers. Finally, they got the key to escape from the maze. In the end of the movie, some of the gladers who stands on Thomas's side are managed to run away and fight with the grievers. Although they got the key from the grievers which Thomas killed earlier but they need the password to open it. Minho know the password since he is the runner. Finally they managed to escaped and Chuck, one of Thomas's best friend was killed by Gally using the gun in order to protect him. This is a very sad because a friend willing to sacrifice himself to save his best friend. This movie is really awesome in terms of storyline and action, and the sequel movie named <The Scorch Trials> will be released on September 18, 2015.
