Around 12:20 p.m., me and Johann entered the IMAX cinema hall after I bought the large popcorn set. And we watched <300: Rise Of An Empire> in IMAX 3D.
Movie Review
The movie is the follow-up to the <300> and you should watch <300> before you watch the movie. The movie is talking about the timeline during the Spartan fight with Persian in Hot Gates. When Artemisia is young, her family was raped and murdered by Greek hoplites and she was taken as a sex slave to the Greeks, who left her for dead in the streets. She was rescued and adopted by the Persians. And she hope for the revenge to Greece. During the battle between Artemisia and Themistokles, the scene is very bloody and it's looked real. And it's very disgusting when they are chopping the head. In the end of the movie, many of us will ask, "Will the next episode for <300> would release?".
P/S: Don't complain if you can't watch the sex scene where Artemisia tries to convince Themistokles to join the Persians as her second-in-command.
